A rivalry told through animation
For Free Fire Pro League Season 5 in 2021, KAMELION produced a character-led animation that brings the tournament's competitors into a stylised game world. The film moves from an aerial arrival into a shipping-container arena, where close-ups and bursts of action introduce the characters.
The animation brings together storyboards, staging and timing with character and environment work. The finished film and its accompanying breakdown follow the same shots, allowing the process to be seen alongside the final image.
The complete film
The 1 minute 42 second film follows a continuous journey through the arena. Camera height, character gestures and fast changes of scale move the sequence between individual introductions and the larger environment.
From storyboard to finished frame
The breakdown places the finished image beside its storyboard and animated work-in-progress view. Drawn arrows establish movement; the playblast shows staging and timing; the final render adds character surfaces, lighting and effects. Repeated views of the same shots let the viewer follow a decision across all three stages.
