A Two-Week Live Run in Bangkok
From 28 June to 9 July 2023, ten of Asia-Pacific's rising VALORANT teams competed in Bangkok for a place in VCT Pacific and a share of a $100,000 prize pool. The group stage ran at the Pullman Grande Sukhumvit; the play-offs moved to the arena at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre. KAMELION was on the ground across the full production window — setup on 24–25 June and 4 July, rehearsals on 26–27 June and 5–6 July, and ten match days: the group stage from 28 June to 4 July and the play-offs from 7 to 9 July.
The Scope: Broadcast Production Built for a Live Circuit
The engagement spanned on-site broadcast operation across the tournament plus a dedicated equipment package provisioned specifically for the event. Delivering a top-tier circuit means airing every match live to a global audience with zero margin for a re-take.
Why It Mattered
Ascension is the promotion tournament that lifts a regional team into the top-tier VCT Pacific league for the next two seasons. Producing it in Bangkok put a global-tier VALORANT broadcast on home ground — and delivering it clean across ten match days is the kind of proof this circuit runs on.
