Sumipol at METALEX 2023

An industrial story in a public space

Above the machines, conversations and demonstrations on Sumipol’s exhibition stand, a corner LED display carried a different view of the company: a miniature animated world. KAMELION created naked-eye 3D animation and a logo loop for the display through Media Garden.

The setting was METALEX 2023, held from 22 to 25 November. Sumipol’s stand brought together industrial products, smart-factory solutions and demonstrations. Its 35th-anniversary identity was visible across the booth, placing the animation within a wider presentation of the company’s manufacturing story.

From miniature factory to brand mark

The on-site recording follows the screen through character animation, a miniature factory setting and a mechanical transformation sequence. The content then moves into the Factory Transformation message and Sumipol’s emblem and wordmark. Seen from the aisle, these sequences sit above the white canopy and the working exhibition space below.

That relationship between animation and setting is central to this presentation. The corner display, the scale of the booth and the activity on the floor can all be seen together in the event recording. It shows how the finished content appeared in use, beyond an isolated render.

The animation on site

The main film preserves the full 46.6-second on-site recording in a silent web version. It includes the character, factory, transformation and brand sequences in their original order. Selected stills show individual moments from that same recording; the separate logo render is supplementary production material.

KAMELION’s contribution was the CG and naked-eye animation content and logo loop, delivered through Media Garden. The on-site footage documents that content playing at Sumipol’s METALEX 2023 stand.
