AmarinTV Election 2026: The Engine Behind the Election Night Graphics
Technical partner for AmarinTV's 2026 election coverage — KAMELION built the middleware, Blueprints, and operator control app that turned a live results feed into on-air graphics, on a foundation first delivered in 2023.
Their Design, Our Programing
AmarinTV's 2026 election coverage was designed and built in-house — the look, the on-screen language, the graphics system it all runs on. KAMELION came in as technical partner to make it data-driven: the software layer that feeds live results into their system, drives the graphics from that data, and gives operators a way to run it on the night.
It's a role we could take because we'd been here before. KAMELION delivered the AR and virtual-set system for AmarinTV's 2023 election coverage, which gave us a working understanding of their pipeline going in.

Middleware
Election night is a data problem before it's a graphics problem. Numbers arrive continuously, from more than one race at once, and every one of them has to reach the screen correct and current.
KAMELION built an API middleware application that sits between the live results feed and AmarinTV's graphics system — ingesting incoming data, normalising it into a shape the graphics could consume, and pushing it downstream continuously. Instead of operators retyping numbers as they land, the middleware carries them.
Blueprints
Inside AmarinTV's engine, KAMELION implemented the Blueprint logic that drives their designed graphics from that feed. Every element that needed to react to data — the counts, the seat tallies, the state changes as a race resolved — was wired to update from the middleware rather than from a hand-set value.
The design stayed exactly as AmarinTV drew it. What changed is that it became programmable.
Control App
The third piece is the one nobody sees. KAMELION built a control application for the operators running the show: a single surface to cue graphics, drive segments, and keep the on-air data in sync with what the presenters were talking about.
Broadcast software is judged on the worst minute of the night, not the best. The control app was built for that minute — clear state, predictable behaviour, minimal steps between a producer's call and the graphic on screen.
The Partnership
AmarinTV owned the creative and the platform. KAMELION built the data path, the logic, and the controls that made it move — a continuation of the 2023 collaboration, one layer deeper in the stack.
