Frequently asked questions

It depends on the number of zones, how much is interactive and how much content is new. The work runs through concept, experience and technical design, content production, then installation, programming and testing on site, and each stage needs client review. A single interactive piece is far quicker than a multi-zone exhibition. Tell us your opening date at the first call and we will tell you honestly whether it is realistic.

The main factors are the size and number of surfaces or zones, the length and complexity of the content, how many interactive elements and sensors are involved, the hardware to be rented or bought, the length of the run, and the time needed on site for installation and programming. Fabrication is usually quoted separately by the build team. Send a short brief and we reply with a scoped estimate.

We design it and make it work; the physical build is normally done by a fabrication team. For The Little Prince Universe at ICONSIAM, with MAD MOTION, we designed the experience of every zone and its projection, light, sound and interactive systems, while a separate team built the scenery. We prepare the design so the fabricator knows where every projector, sensor and light goes.

It depends on the experience. At The Little Prince Universe we used projection mapping in Resolume Arena, LED lighting controlled through Madrix, an interactive mirror with Kinect body tracking, a ball pit with Lidar sensing, and TouchDesigner over an OSC hub, alongside weight sensors, low fog and scent. For exhibitions we also previsualize rooms in Unreal Engine before the build, as we did for TCX 2025.

We design the system and specify the projectors, media servers, sensors and lighting each zone needs, then program and commission them on site. The hardware itself is sourced per project, whether through your AV supplier, the venue or a rental partner, depending on the length of the run. Tell us what equipment is already available at your venue and we will design around it where possible.

Yes. For TCX 2025 at QSNCC we produced the graphics and visuals shown in The River Adventure dome ride, alongside the exhibition design for six experiences in one hall. At TCX 2026 at Paragon Hall we worked on experience and spatial design, immersive media and interactive systems for attraction worlds such as GTH and Girl From Nowhere. We plan content for the screen geometry and the visitor’s viewing position.

The story or brand you want visitors to experience, the venue and floor plan, opening dates and length of run, the visitor flow you expect, and any IP or brand guidelines that need approval. If you already have a fabricator or AV supplier, introduce us early. Email contact@kamelion.io or use Start a project, and we will come back with questions, a first approach and a scoped estimate.
