Frequently asked questions
Yes. Design and previsualization are our core here, and the build is usually done by a separate contractor. For TCX 2026 at Paragon Hall, our workflow moved from CAD through SketchUp and Blender into Unreal Engine, so the creative team and the builders shared one reference for scale, position and materials. Tell us who is building and which formats they work in, and we plan our drawings and models around them.
It depends on the project, but typically a layout or master plan, 3D models, renders and real-time walkthroughs. For TCX 2025 at QSNCC we delivered room layouts and visitor circulation, projection planning, speaker positions and scare-trigger positions, with every room previsualized at one-to-one scale in Unreal Engine. We agree the file list at the start, so your fabricator and AV team receive what they need.
A plan shows where a wall stands; a walkthrough shows what the audience actually sees. Previsualizing TCX 2025 at one-to-one scale in Unreal Engine let the team review approaches, sightlines, screens and the view through each doorway before construction began. Problems found in a walkthrough cost far less to fix than problems found on site, and everyone, from client to fabricator, approves the same picture.
Yes, within the same studio. At TCX 2025 we produced the graphics and visuals shown in The River Adventure dome ride; for Sumipol at METALEX 2023 we created naked-eye 3D animation for a corner LED display. Planning content and stage together means screen sizes, viewing angles and resolutions are designed in from the start, not retrofitted.
Start before the build is quoted. The design sets what the fabricator, AV and lighting suppliers price and build, so a late design compresses everyone’s schedule. Allow time for at least one round of client review on the walkthrough before drawings are frozen. The right lead time depends on the size of the show and how much content is new, so contact us as soon as you have a venue and a date.
Yes, most of our event work is with partners. On TCX 2025 and TCX 2026 we worked with JUNGKA Studio and the wider production teams; on the Golden Spatula Open Tournament we worked with IO Esports, using 3D visualization to align stage design, broadcast setup and audience flow before execution. We fit into the organiser’s schedule and approval process and share models so every team works from the same plan.
The size of the venue and the number of zones or areas, whether you need renders only or full real-time walkthroughs, how much screen content we produce, and how many on-site support days are needed. Fabrication, rigging and equipment are quoted by the build and AV suppliers. Send your venue, dates and a short brief to contact@kamelion.io or use Start a project, and we reply with a scoped estimate.
